Soundgarden - Superunknown [1994]

Come, let's update that make me angry fans.

I do not know if anyone will know what I mean, but when you have a music blog or whatever where you write about things that you like and others, sometimes you surprise yourself by how you may not discussed before this or that you love so much, in my case groups. How can they take so long listening to Soundgarden and I have not ever given for writing about them? Where was your head? If you are the host. Fortunately that is easily solved; within article:

Soundgarden is a terribly big group and, at least here, terribly unknown. And I will not explain it with songs like Spoonman, Fell on Black Days or Black Hole Sun - attentive to the letter - which is one of my favorite songs. For you have not ever heard anything other than to say that I expected the eternal torment in the Tartarus, as I am nice I will give you some information: Soundgarden's grunge yankee group, one of the pioneer bands of the genre, with huge Chris Cornell - whom he would later in Audioslave and Temple of the Dog - the front and that should be enough to make you cast you hear the album you've chosen, Superunknown, but if you do not it only tell you that also snack to Nirvana. It never hurts to get a little Nirvana.

As they say in my hive, so psychedelic is not good.

The style of the album is quite unique within the grunge songs are used in some pretty unusual tempos (5 / 4, 6 / 4, etc.) in a music which in theory should be quite simple, and also not in vain Cornell has a unique voice and personality in front of a microphone. I would even say they are on par with Pearl Jam itself, which I adore and whose album Ten believe are the foundation and not disheveled grunge, and I think you are exaggerating or on one or others. We could also compare them to give you an idea, with another group that I love: The Smashing Pumpkins - course, article about them and their Mellon Collie here -. That and large doses of psychedelia - thank you sir for Kim Thayil (guitar) - form one of the most solid grunge groups that have been heard in Seattle, and is not an understatement.

The album is variadito, go hard with me Drown Let - sufficiently close to HT, did a fan of Tsuneo Imahori (Trigun soundtrack of) in the room? - it goes to the curious My Wave - do you remember what I said about the strange tempos? - but the fat is coming. And maybe I'm too repetitive, but Black Hole Sun is one of the best songs I've heard in my life and therefore I must say at least three times in this post. Aside from that pepinazo amazing, is that the album has other songs are also great as mentioned in the second paragraph or, as the 4th of July dark or dense Like Suicide, the title track to record ... completito album, come on. And tell me, enjoy it and the next.

PS: Next time you want to update, send to the address Shoutwiththedevil@gmail.com photos of sisters, cousins, girlfriends and neighbors in an attitude suggestive, scantily clad, that rather than being harassed by messenger motivate me, I say.

PS2: Did I mention that Black Hole Sun is beastly? The virgin - and go three -.
